Clorox Power a Bright Future Grant 2012

Last month, Cottonwood Creek submitted a Power a Bright Future grant to The Clorox Company in hopes of securing up to $50,000 in funding for Bring the World Home: Building Technological Bridges to Global Education. The focus of this grant is to provide our Cottonwood students an appreciation of the world as their global community.
The program that receives the highest number of votes will be awarded the $50,000 grand-prizegrant, and the next top vote-getters in the Play, Create and Explore categories respectively will each be awarded a $25,000 grant. Cottonwood’s grant is in the explore category. There are 1,633 grants in this category, so we need everyone to participate in daily voting.

A panel of Clorox judges will also select three lucky schools, one in each category, to win a $25,000 judge’s choice grant based on merit.
Voting will take place from Nov. 12- Dec. 19th. Adults and kids 13 and older can vote online at or text to vote. You may text and vote online only one time per day.
Specific voting instructions will be sent home shortly. Please share with friends, family, co-workers etc. to help Cottonwood win $50,000!
